As part of their studies in secondary school, students may select cooperative education courses to assist them with their career planning. These courses allow students to explore chosen career fields and experience learning and working in the workplace. Cooperative education courses include a classroom component, comprising pre-placement and integration activities, and a placement component. Each applicant will be screened to determine if the student is suitable for the program.

- regular attendance and punctuality that meet school expectations
- good academic standing
- successful completion of the previous semesterís courses
